Our Visit
Beauty technology is only getting better and better in Korea. There are so many different procedures that help your skin look young and healthy. After doing some research, we decided to go to Wooa Plastic Surgery & Dermatology near Apgujeong Station. The first thing that surprised us was that it was huge! Usually, a beauty clinic in Korea doesn't have a full building to itself but Wooa has its own 3-story building!
If you step inside, you'll find a reception area with high ceilings and delicate decorations. The carefully designed open space is for customers to sit and wait for their procedures allowing them to relax before a somewhat nerve-wracking experience.
There are magazines to read on the coffee table and an introduction to Wooa's procedures for guests to refer to while waiting.
On the first floor, there is a small drinks area where you can grab a simple drink or charge your phone. The small details like these are what make the customer have a better experience.
If you want to get to know your doctors, there is a wall where you can see their information and get to know them.
There is also a wall of photos and autographs of the famous celebrities that used Wooa's services. See any familiar faces?
On the first floor are the skincare and breast surgery consulting rooms. The consulting rooms are enclosed and give you a sense of privacy. In addition to skincare services, Wooa is famous for its breast augmentation procedures.

The recovery rooms are also on the first floor.
Up on the second floor is where they do the actual procedures. There are comfortable chairs for the customers to wait their turn.
If you look around, you can tell that they really take the customer's privacy into consideration when designing the space. The rooms are divided with partitions and some rooms are separate altogether.
There is also an area where you can remove makeup and wash your face if needed. Your belongings can be stored in the lockers above.
The third floor is for consulting and breast augmentations. The space is bright and private, like all the other rooms in Wooa Plastic Surgery & Dermatology. The employees at Wooa were also so friendly and welcoming that it helped us relax before the procedure.
I decided to get the O2toDerm procedure. When you come to the clinic, first, go to the receptionist and show them your reservation information from Creatrip and the receptionist will give you a form to fill out. If you don't understand, ask for help!
After completing the check-in procedure, the employee will give a thorough explanation of the procedure and things to keep in mind. If you have any questions, don't hesitate and ask.
Next, we headed to the second floor for the procedure. O2toDerm is a procedure that uses high-concentration oxygen and anion to prevent aging caused by active oxygen. It regenerates the skin cells and also improves the immune system which protects the skin from harmful substances. This procedure is popular in Korea because it doesn't swell up your face. Although it is painful, it's effective in rejuvenating the skin.
At the start of the procedure, the specialist will help you remove your makeup and clean your face.
After your skin is thoroughly cleaned, the O2toDerm procedure starts. The O2toDerm will produce high concentration oxygen in the form of a mist spray for better absorption. You'll feel like there's a cool breeze on your face, very gentle, not uncomfortable or painful at all.
Next, an oxygen pulse supplement cream will be applied to the face and the O2toDerm Anion Dome will cover your face and do its magic for 5 minutes. This promotes cell regeneration and reduces active oxygen.
Customers usually combine O2toDerm and LDM skin regeneration procedures together for a more effective result. We also decided to try it out.
The specialist will help you apply gel to your skin and perform LDM therapy skin creation. This LDM machine uses ultrasound as a comprehensive skin rejuvenation solution because it can help balance and increase skin elasticity and get rid of wrinkles to create youthful-looking skin.
The final step is to apply a skin mask for about 10 minutes to calm and moisturize the skin.
The esthetician will also apply sunscreen for you. It is crucial that you apply sunscreen every time you go outside. The entire process for this session took approximately an hour and a half. It was super relaxing as well as good for the skin!
Above is the before and after. It may not be clear in the photo, but my skin feels clean, bright, and glowy. My skin feels healthy every day since I got the procedure! I highly recommend you try it out for yourself. If you want healthy skin, don't hesitate!
