Yeongju Makgeolli + Ginseng Liquor + Floral Tea 2 day Tour

Yeongju, a city located in Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, has recently begun to attract more visitors as more people have been traveling down to the southern provinces of Korea. A city that is calmingly quiet that there is a village where scholars studied enlightenment. The area is also famous for their unique experience classes run by local merchants. This tour will take you to the various historical sites and experimental schools in Yeongju. Stay tuned for more information!

Why We Recommend It

It is a very long process to make makgeolli at home. Make your own makgeolli with the convenience of everything prepared for you at the class!

Pick your own flowers to make a floral tea. Its appearance is art in itself, but also tastes good so it's killing two birds with one stone.

To get a glimpse of what Joseon education was like, visit Sosu Seowon, Korea's first private educational institution. Also, visit Buseoksa Temple, which was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to explore the beauty of traditional Korean architecture.
