Generous cut of cow tongue in the Special Seolleongtang bowl at Lee Nam Jang.

First off, the Special Seolleongtang is a rich soup with special cuts of beef including cow tongue and brisket(the green onion was added by me). In the rich white broth is rice and somen noodles!

Close-up of tender beef cut in the rich Seolleongtang broth, exuding a savory aroma.

A piece of cow tongue this big is inside the broth!

Spoonful of chopped beef pieces with soup and rice, highlighting the melt-in-your-mouth cow tongue.

This special cut melts in your mouth. It's the perfect combination of beef fat and meat giving a soft and rich beef flavor. The cut is pretty generous, right?

A large piece of soft beef paired with dipping sauce, enhancing the Seolleongtang dining experience.

Cut the big pieces of beef into bite size and scoop them up with soup and rice. My honest review of cow tongue is that it was much softer than the other cuts of beef. It melts in my mouth! It was my first time eating cow tongue, so it was quite the experience.

Generous meat portions visible in a single scoop of Lee Nam Jang's Seolleongtang.

This cut of beef even looks like it would be so soft and it goes really well with the dipping sauce.

Even though I cut all the meat up, I caught a lot in one scoop. I've never seen Seolleongtang with this much meat! The Seolleongtang at Inamjang didn't have the odor that meat sometimes has when cooked improperly.

Traditional Seolleongtang with brisket at Lee Nam Jang, served without cow tongue.

Unlike like the Special Seolleongtang, this version only has brisket. The cuts of meat are limited but this Seolleongtang also had a lot of meat!

Mouth-watering spoonful of rice, noodles, and meat from a rich Seolleongtang bowl.

Scoop up a spoonful full of rice, noodles, and meat and have at it in one bite.

Seolleongtang focuses on the flavor of the rich bone broth and isn't too strong of a taste. As soon as you take a bite, you'll feel warm inside(the restaurant is cooled down by the air conditioner, so you can enjoy it in the summer).

You can't forget the kimchi and radish kimchi when you have Seolleongtang!

Kimchi being cut with scissors to complement a delightful Seolleongtang meal.

Cut the kimchi up with the scissors given into bite-sized pieces and place it on top of your spoonful of Seolleongtang! The combination of hot soup with rice and kimchi is such a good pairing.

Adding chili paste for extra spice to enhance the taste of Seolleongtang.

You may want to add a bit more spice to your soup later on. Try adding some chili paste!

Spoonful of Seolleongtang with beef and noodles, infused with chili paste for a spicy kick.

I added some chili paste and finished off my bowl with red soup!

I was full and satisfied after finishing my bowl of rice, noodles, and meat.
