Our Visit

Good Ol' Days cafe in Busan is located 1 minute from exit 1 of Jungang Station and 3 minutes from exit 7 of Nampo Station.

The rooftop lounge on the 5th floor is especially popular and is a great place to enjoy the view while sipping coffee. You can also buy Busan travel postcards here.

The cafe is located on the 1st and 2nd floor and there is a hotel on the 3rd to 5th floors so there are many hotel guests.

Since there is a hotel in the building, the entrance also feels like a small hotel in Europe.

As you know, the term "good ol' days" comes from "good old days" or "good ole days".

It comes from the owner's warm heart hoping that the guests can have a precious trip and make unforgettable memories here.

Inside the cafe, there are various things to enjoy in this cute space.

I especially liked the wide windows. It was very bright inside thanks to the natural light which helped enhance the warm atmosphere of the cafe. The second floor is made up of a larger space.

There were a lot of props that represent the concept of the cafe, good old days.

At the entrance, there are pamphlets that show the history of Good Ol' Days on display and you can also see their signature diffuser that Good Ol' Days created in collaboration with a workshop in Busan.

It has a calm and fresh woody scent, so it felt like I was taking a walk in a bamboo forest.

The wall next to the front desk introduces local stores in Busan that you need to visit such as Busan 3 Generations Chinese restaurant, 55 years traditional seal maker, and 40-year-old pork and rice soup restaurant.

It's only available in Korean but if you are traveling around Busan, it would be good to incorporate it into your travel itinerary.

Among all the reasons you should visit this cafe, the main one is the postcards!

There are about 150 kinds of postcards that are filled with photos of beautiful landscapes of Busan taken by local photographers.

The owner of Good Ol' Days cafe is also a photographer, so we can truly feel his passion for photography.

When you look a little closer, you can read about each photographer.

The photos displayed here are the works of photographers who were born and raised in Busan so we can feel their love for the city in each photo.

There are photos of well-known tourist attractions of Busan as well as local areas where you can see the daily lives of the small neighborhood.

In addition to the various attractions in Nampo-dong, there are many other locations such as Gwangalli, Haeundae, Gamcheon Culture Village, and Seomyeon so it's fun to choose which one you want.

Receive 1 free postcard if you buy 5 postcards 💌

Do you always buy a souvenir when you travel? I like to collect postcards and magnets whenever I'm exploring a new place.

Creatrip members can receive 1 free postcard when they purchase 5 postcards.

When I visited, I also saw many Korean tourists picking out pretty postcards.

It's a great gift as a souvenir, but there's also another reason why it's so popular!

They offer a special service called Postcards to the Future.

Postcards to the Future allows you to pick a date up to three years from the date of purchase, but usually are sent in the next year. It is for your future self to receive and read about what the past you has to say!

After purchasing a postcard and a stamp and giving it to the employee, they will send it to the post office.

For your information, delivery isn't limited to just Korea! International delivery is possible so you can visit and write a letter to your future self no matter where in the world you are.

In the middle of the cafe, there are pens, pencils, erasers, and stamps you can use to decorate the postcards.

You can decorate a letter to yourself as if you're writing a diary for your future self to receive.

You can also make stamps of landmarks of Busan and stamp them on postcards and notebooks. There are maps of Busan and other merchandise made from the same cafe brand for you to purchase.

It's the best cafe for tourists who come to Busan to relax and also enjoy various things.

On one side of the cafe, there was a small photo exhibition of local artists.

It changes every month so you can see different exhibitions each month.

We can't forget about drinks and bakeries when visiting a cafe!

The signature menu of Good Ol' Days are Goodspanner and Goodvienna.

Other than the two drinks, there are other coffees and non-caffeinated beverages such as Americano, cafe latte, and iced tea to choose from.

Americano
4,300 won

Good Ol' Days also has high reviews for their coffee. I had a cold iced Americano and the taste of the coffee beans was very savory.

Also, their desserts are baked by the bakery with great attention every morning.

The price varies depending on what you get, but most of them are between 3,000 won and 4,000 won.

To keep the texture and aroma of the baked goods at the highest quality, it is baked and sold on the same day.

Shall we take a look at the rooftop?

You can take the elevator in front of the stairs to the second floor.

When you get off on the 5th floor, you will see a sign of the rooftop lounge right in front of you.

It's a no-kids zone so children aren't allowed up there. We can enjoy a quiet and chill atmosphere.

If you walk up the stairs, you can see the entrance to the rooftop lounge.

The sky looks even prettier up here.

A cafe with such a big rooftop in the city of Busan is certainly a sight to see!

We visited around 12 pm so a lot of people were having lunch elsewhere. We could enjoy the quiet atmosphere with only a few other people.

The weather was also perfect so we could soak in the sun.

I was surprised to see that the space was bigger than I thought.

There were tables for two and four people and the view from the rooftop was breathtaking.

I especially liked this space on the left that looks like a frame for us to enjoy the view better. Shall we take a closer look?

You can see the Busan Tower and Busan Bridge very well from here.

It's a rooftop where you can feel the breeze in cool weather during spring, summer, and autumn. All except for the extremely cold winter.

Browse around the unique postcards and relax in the rooftop lounge at the Good Ol' Days cafe!

How To Get There

Walk out of Jungang Station exit 1.

Walk into the alley on the right side.

Keep walking straight.

Do you see the five-storey building on the left? It's the Good Ol' Days building!

The Good Ol' Days building has a total of 5 floors. The cafe is located on the 1st and 2nd floors and you can use the rooftop lounge on the 5th floor.

Enter through the first-floor entrance on the left and have a good time!
