Seokchon Lake Park is a beautiful park located right next to the famous Lotte Tower in Jamsil, Seoul. This lake is surrounded by many popular tourist attractions such as Lotte Tower, and Lotte World, and is a popular spot that people come to hang out at after they visit the previous attractions. Why We Recommend It
It is a large park that is great for taking long walks or runs.
You can also ride a bike as the area of the park is quite big.
It is open 24 hours, so you can come and enjoy the atmosphere and the park anytime of the day!
In the spring, this is one of the most popular spots to come and enjoy cherry blossoms!
It is very close to Lotte Tower and Lotte World, so you can head over to the amusement park or go shopping before or after your visit to the park.
Our Visit
The warmer weather has come to Korea and so we decided to go out on a walk around Seokchon Lake Park. This park is divided into two sides, the east side and the west side!
In the spring, the whole lake becomes surrounded by beautiful pink cherry blossoms, making it a popular tourist destination within the spring season. However, this park is always quite popular, as many people like to come here to work out and go on walks all throughout the year.

Petit Petit Cafe
Hours: Tuesday- Friday 10:00 - 7:00 / Friday - Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM / Closed on Mondays and National Holidays
The first place that you will see when entering the park is this white building, which is home to Petit Petit coffee shop and a restroom area. In this building, there is also a small performance space.
Lotte World
If you continue walking, you will be able to find the ticket office and the entrance of Lotte World, but you can't enter the amusement park from this way.
West Waterfront Stage, Seockchon Lake Ateller, Damso Coffee
When walking up to the top of the stairs on the right, you will come to the exercise park that is open for everyone to use.

Hours: 10:00 - 20:00 / Closed on Mondays and National Holidays
If you continue, you will also come across Damso Coffee, and the toilets. This is a little cafe where you can relax at.
Damso Coffee
Hours: 10:00 - 21:00, Break Time: 14:00 - 17:00
Jamsil Lake Bridge
Another highlight of Seokchon Lake Park is the Jamsil Lake Bridge. On both sides of the bridge there is a tunnel under the bridge that has various pictures and paintings on the wall. You can take a photo with the wall murals and enjoy the beautiful art while taking a walk.
Under Jamsil Bridge (South Side)
When you enter along the end, you will see various paintings and photos about the lake and the park as well as the nearby area.
When you reach the other side, you can walk across the bridge to watch the show under the north bridge. You can also walk straight towards the east side of Seokchon Lake Park.
Under Jamsil Bridge (North Side)
On this side, there will be pictures and various wall paintings. You can enjoy the beautiful art here.

Piano on the Lake
Hours: 10:00 - 20:00
Due to the coronavirus situation, you can only play the piano from 10:00- 08:00.
East Seokchon Lake Park
On the eastern side of Seokchon Lake Park, you will see Tourist Information Center, cafes, photo spots, and restaurants. In addition this area of the park has a large garden that is connected to Lotte World Tower as well.
Eastern Waterfront Stage Show
If you continue forward you will come across this area where there is a little stage. From this area you can observe the waterfront and enjoy the water! We even got lucky and saw so many cute ducks!
Information Points, Restaurants, Cafes, Lotte World Tower
Jamsil is an area with full of cute cafes and restaurants. You can head to the information center and learn more about what the surrounding area has to offer with cafe and restaurant recommendations!
If you walk past this area pictured above, you will be able to see the entrance to Lotte World Tower, which is a shopping center filled with fun activities such as the Sky Bridge Tour and Seoul Sky Observation deck.

Taking Photos around the Garden
This park has tons of photo spots and areas to take cute pictures at!
Like in the photo above, you can see that there are so many cute and convenient areas you can put your phone on to get the perfect shot!
Rent a School Uniform
Seokchon Lake is also a popular place for those to come and take school uniforms and take photos. Because it has a cozy atmosphere, many people like to come here on a date and take a walk around. They are easy to rent and are absolutely cute in photos!
Ride the Moon Boat and UFO Boat
From May, Geneva Port and Lotte World and Seokchon Lake Park will have cute and fun activities for everyone to try. You can get on a Moon Boat and a UFO Boat.

Lotte World Aquarium
From this park, you can walk to Lotte World Tower, which has many activities to do, including the Lotte World Aquarium itself. You can walk around and see the aquatic creatures inside. Creatrip members can book tickets to the aquarium here.

How to Get There
Exit out of Jamsil Station and walk out from Exit 3.
When you exit, you will find a road across the road. Cross the crosswalk and go straight.
When you reach the Lotte World Mascot statue, walk to the left of the statue.
Cross the road to the opposite side when you see an intersection.
When you see the entrance like the one in the picture, turn right.
This is the entrance to Seokchon Lake Park on the west side. You will now be at the park.
