Our Visit

We visited at night and the area this hotel is in is close to many restaurants and bars, so you can enjoy a night out with friends.

We recommend it if you want to stay around Jamsil and find the other famous hotels in the area to be out of your budget.

There's no real lobby, and you just check in at the small counter on the first floor. If you would like, you may request to rent a laptop or a hair straightener at the front desk.

Once we checked in, we received our key card and a box of amenities and headed up to our room.

We stayed in the Suite City View Room, which starts at 110,000 won on weekdays. The rooms in this hotel range from 80,000-240,000 won depending on the day and time of check-in, but there are often promotions online.

When you enter, you'll see the free slippers they provide. The colors of the room were interesting and something we hadn't seen before. The walls were a rich blue color with gold accents.

The room was very large with a comfortable double bed and two green armchairs. It comes with a TV too and it was playing classical music when we walked in.

There's also a desk area so you can do work if you need to. This room had a lot of space, so it would be fun to stay here with friends.

The bathtub is actually not in the bathroom, but behind the bed! A nice bath here would be super relaxing and all of the rooms have a bathtub.

Rooftop bar at Hotel The Castle closed due to COVID-19, showcasing night city views and the stark Lotte Tower backdrop.

It is a city view room, but it's pretty close to other buildings so it isn't the best view, but it's still nice to look out at the city.
