Jamsil is home to many cafes worth visiting and most are found on Songnidan-gil. Songnidan-gil is a famous street filled with lots of cute cafes, rooftop bars, and delicious restaurants.

It's one of the latest hot areas in Seoul and is always packed with people, so be sure to check it out and get some pictures for your Instagram. Here are some of the cafes we recommend visiting!

Oh, Linzi
오린지

Oh, Linzi is very popular on Instagram and you can see why just from the outside. It looks like a cozy little house and it's even prettier when it's warmer and the plants have leaves.

There's almost always a line to get in, so we recommend you go early! We went right when it opened and there were still quite a few people inside.

The interior feels very open and warm, with a few tables, seats by the window, and these seats on the steps.

Since it's very popular, they limit the amount of time you can sit inside to two hours on weekdays and one and a half hours on weekends. Also, you can't move seats once you sit, so choose wisely!

We got the Vanilla Latte (5,500 KRW), Passionfruit Ade (6,500 KRW), and the Season Fruit Rare Cheesecake (7,500 KRW).

The drinks were delicious, but the cheesecake was especially tasty! It was super thick and with a strong cheese flavor and came with fresh cream and strawberries.

It's very relaxing to sit and chat by the big window, you'll wish you could stay longer.

Cafe Pepper
카페페퍼

Cafe Pepper is on the second floor of this building. It's very well-known for their beautiful desserts and is another cafe where there's often a line to get in.

They're so popular, even their instagram has 23.1K followers!

As you can see, it's pretty crowded even though we went early afternoon on a weekday. The interior is very European-style and filled with mostly white furniture and white brick walls.

There are so many desserts, it's hard to choose what to eat! They're all so cute and beautifully displayed, it's no wonder they are so popular on social media.

Next to the counter, you'll also find a wide variety of beautiful cakes too.

Each person has to order one drink. We got the Pepper Coffee (5,500 KRW), Strawberry Lemon Ade (6,000 KRW), Lemon Lime Pistachio Cake (7,000 KRW).

The coffee was topped with a delicious cream and the ade was very refreshing. The cake was also very thick and had the perfect amount of sour, citrus flavor so that it wasn't too sweet.

Mountain Nook
마운틴누크

Mountain Nook is on the second floor of this building above Allavo and it says it's a natural healing cafe. It's been showing up on Instagram recently, so we wanted to take a look, and it was a good thing we did.

It might not look too fancy from the outside, but you'll definitely regret it if you just pass by!

Like the name suggests, the inside of the cafe will make you think you've stepped into a beautiful forest.

The decor and cozy environment make you feel very calm and peaceful. There's lots of seating available, so you won't have to worry about there being no space.

It's a huge cafe with two floors and it makes you feel like you're relaxing in nature. You'll forget you're in Seoul! Honestly, you could probably spend hours here without realizing any time has passed.

It was a weekday, but the third floor was still very crowded when we visited. This floor is a little more popular because of the unique seating and lights and there were more plant decorations.

We ordered the Nook (누크/8,000 KRW), Songnidamgil (송리담길/7,900 KRW), and Yuzu Tea (유자차/7,000 KRW). The Nook and Songnidamgil are their signature items.

The Nook is a yummy chocolate cake with layers of berry cream and a leaf and axe chocolate, matching the theme of the cafe. The Songnidamgil is a cute latte topped with thick cream and cookies to look like rocks.

The food and drinks are a bit pricey, but worth it considering the cafe's unique atmosphere!

Back on the first floor by the return counter, there's this little photo machine. You can take a picture with your friends and it prints it out right away.

Many people hung their photos on the photo wall right next to the machine, or you can take it home as a fun memory!

Lala Bread
라라브레드

Lala Bread is famous in Jamsil for their delicious bread, pastries, and desserts.

It's another large cafe and the bread and counter are on the first floor and seating areas are on the second and basement levels. Inside, you can also see how they freshly bake their bread daily.

The seating area on the second floor is cute and colorful and there's a lot of windows, so it's peaceful and relaxing when the sun shines through. It would be nice to come with friends or just come alone to get some work done.

We ordered the Pink Rosemary Tea (4,500 KRW), Cold Brew Vanilla Latte (5,500 KRW), and Ham Cheese Croissant (4,000 KRW). The sandwich was delicious, and the ingredients tasted very fresh while the croissant was the perfectly light and flaky.

It's actually a brunch cafe too, so they also have pasta, sandwiches, etc. This cafe is the perfect place to grab brunch or dessert and spend an afternoon chatting with friends!

Pres Coffee
프레스커피

Pres Coffee is on the fourth floor of this building and it's famous for its artsy interior and rooftop view. There's a lot of paintings and decorations you can enjoy inside.

If the weather's nice, you definitely have to try to get a seat on the rooftop and enjoy the wonderful view of Jamsil and the Lotte World Tower!

This spot is totally Insta-worthy and you won't be able to get a view like this in any other part of Seoul. No wonder this cafe is so popular, right?

We ordered the Latte (6,000 KRW), Flat White (6,000 KRW), and Berries Crowaffle (9,000 KRW). Their crowaffles are very popular and they're made by pressing croissant dough in a waffle maker. It was crispy and chewy, matching perfectly with the coffee.

Gabaedo
가배도

Gabaedo is a cafe with other branches in Gangnam and Samcheong, and they're known for their beautiful drinks and desserts. Creatrip members can get a 10% discount at the Songpa branch!

The cafe is very cool compared to the ordinary entrance. The interior style is very charming and retro and the sun shining through the windows is calming.

Each piece of furniture is carefully selected and coordinated by the owner, and you can really see a lot of thought and care went into the cafe.

We saw lots of Korean girls enjoying their afternoon here with friends and it has a very warm and inviting atmosphere.

We ordered the Matcha Latte (6,500 KRW), Pannacotta, Americano (4,500 KRW), Pannacotta (5,000 KRW) and Tiramisu (7,000 KRW). When you order, you can watch the baristas carefully measure and make your drinks.

Their green tea latte has a strong aroma but isn't to bitter, and it might be one of the best we've had in Seoul. The sweet, soft pudding in the pannacotta matched perfectly with the bitter espresso.

Of course, everything was delicious, but we have to recommend their tiramisu. It's soft and moist and their most famous dessert, so almost every table had ordered one!

bjorklunds
뷰클런즈

This is a big, Swedish cafe where you can find refuge in the city. Creatrip members can even get a free mini brownie with the purchase of a drink!

The cafe looks very cool and mysterious from the outside and you can already see how big it is.

It is a two-story cafe with huge seating areas and the wooden interior is very comforting. On the first floor, you can chat and relax, but on the second floor, no talking is allowed and you can read books and enjoy the art exhibitions.

There's a spot for everyone, whether you want to hang out with friends or spend some quality time alone.

We ordered a Sweden Drip Coffee (6,800 KRW), Green Tea Frappe (6,800 KRW), Rooibos Lemongrass Tea (6,000 KRW) , and Brownie Set (5,500 KRW).

The drinks were all delicious and the Sweden Drip Coffee is unique since it has a sour flavor, so try it if you like sour coffee. The brownies are chewy and flavorful. Remember, you can choose your brownie flavor when using the coupon!

Onhwa
카페온화

You have to visit Onhwa in Jamsil to try their fluffy souffle pancakes! You have probably seen souffle pancakes on social media, so if you've been wanting to try them, Onhwa is the place to go.

There may be a wait to get in and if there is, you'll have to grab a standby number from the staff. We promise that it'll be worth the wait!

The inside of the cafe is bright with lots of seating of different shapes all over the cafe. There's an open kitchen, so you can watch the baristas make your drinks and desserts.

They also sell their own coffee beans, which might be good to get as a souvenir.

We got the Matcha Latte (7,500 KRW), Drip Coffee (7,000 KRW), Milk Tea (7,500 KRW), and of course, their most famous Strawberry Souffle Pancake (19,000 KRW).

The souffle pancake starts being made when you order, so it took about 15 minutes to be served. It's definitely worth the wait because it's so fresh and thick that it melts in your mouth, and there's the perfect amount of cream and strawberries. It's a taste you won't be able to forget!
