At first this type of guy might seem uninteresting, but once you get to know him, you will see he is a good man and will easily fall for him.

Chadonam is short for the Korean phrase "차가운 도시 남자" (chagaun dosi namja), literally meaning "cold city man". It refers to the type of guy who seems aloof and arrogant, but is handsome and charming with great, luxurious style.

A typical example of this type of man is Hyun Bin's character Kim Joo-Won in Secret Garden. He initially didn't get along with the female lead due to his personality, but in the end he became a romantic man who only looked at one woman, though he himself won over the hearts of many.
