K-Pop and Korean idols have been around since the 1990s, but since there was no Internet back then, K-Pop music didn't become as popular around the world as it is today. From around 2000, Korean songs and idols began to become more known in the eyes of foreigners and started to become more and more popular to become what it is now.
Over the past 30 years, the K-Pop industry has grown and the genre of music and idols has changed. Each generation of K-Pop has it's different style of music and idols, and these distinctions make it possible to tell when someone became a fan of K-Pop!
So today, we have a fun quiz where you can see if we can guess your age based on your favorite songs and idols. Are you a new fan or oldr than your years in K-Pop? Have fun, but don't look at the answers first!

0-10 points: You are 15-18 years old.
If you just got 10 points, we think you started seriously following K-Pop around 2015 when the K-Pop wave was in full swing. You might be a rookie fan, but we know you'll be a fan for a long time!
11-20 points: You are 19-23 years old.
If you got between 11 and 20 points, we guess that you started following the K-Pop industry in the 2010s. This is a very lucky era because you could follow your faves online since idols were very active online, and there were also concerts every year that gave you a chance to meet idols you love often.
21-30 points: You are 24-29 years old.
If you scored between 21-30, you probably became a fan around 2005, which is considered the start of the second generation of K-Pop idols. You were the first to be able to see your favorite idols in concert when K-Pop idols were beginning to gain fame worldwide!
