Taiwan Results

1st Place: Hospital Playlist (슬기로운 의사생활)

Hospital Playlist is a drama about the chemistry between people living their everyday but special lives in a hospital and the relationships between five doctors in their 20 year friendship.

It is divided into two seasons, each with a total of 12 episodes.

2nd Place: Reply 1988 (응답하라 1988)

Reply 1988 is a comic family drama about five families living in an alley in Ssangmun-dong in 1988.

Reply 1988, which ranked second in Taiwan, was first place when Creatrip Thailand's followers voted on their favorite K-Drama! 

The soundtrack in this drama actually consists of songs that were famous in Korea in 1988. It is said that advertisements and various props from 1988 were also used to try to recreate what life was really like in 1988.

2nd Place: Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo (달의 연인 - 보보경심 려)

18 Again is a drama about a husband about to get a divorce who returns to his glory days 18 years ago.

It's a fantasy drama made to talk about dreams, love, and family, with the main story revolving around the rejuvenation of youth, recovery of relationships, and reflection on the past.


Hong Kong Results

1st Place: Goblin (도깨비)

Goblin, which topped the list in Japan, was also chosen as the number one drama in Hong Kong!

Goblin is the follow-up work by Kim Eun-sook, who recorded record success with Descendants of the Sun, and is a monumental work that overturned experts' predictions that it would be difficult to surpass Descendants of the Sun again in her career.

2nd Place: Descendants of the Sun (태양의 후예)

In Korea, it was a super popular drama that won seven awards at the Korea Communications Commission Broadcasting Awards in 2017 and the KBS Acting Awards in 2016.

Hotel Del Luna tells a special story about a beautiful but cranky elite hotelier who became the manager of Hotel Del Luna due to a fateful event. 

Reply 1988 was selected as followers' favorite Korean drama not only in Taiwan and Thailand, but also in Hong Kong.


Vietnam Results

1st Place: Goblin (도깨비), Descendants of the Sun (태양의 후예)

Goblin and Descendants of the Sun both topped the list of Creatrip Vietnam followers' favorite dramas. 

Both of these dramas are hit works by writer Kim Eun-sook, and both of them were published as novels after the drama ended!

In the novels, you can understand the characters' emotions in more detail as the narration can explain what can't be communicated on film, so I think it would be good to read them at least once.

2nd Place: Vincenzo (빈센조), When the Camellia Blooms (동백꽃 필 무렵), What's Wrong with Secretary Kim (김비서가 왜 그럴까), Kill It (킬잇)

Vincenzo is the story of an Italian mafia lawyer who comes to Korea due to the betrayal by his organization who works together with a feisty veteran lawyer to defeat villains in a villainous way. 

When the Camellia Blooms is a romance drama about country boy Hwang Yong-sik who tries to break down the walls Oh Dong-baek has up. 

What's Wrong with Secretary Kim is a romance between a narcissistic Vice Chairman who has everything, but is obsessed with himself, and his secretary, who has always assisted him to the fullest, but wants to quit her job.

Kill It is a killer action drama between a veterinarian killer who saves animals and a detective who saves people.
