Culture Station Seoul 284 is the building previously known as Seoul Station.

Culture Station Seoul 284 is a unique building with Western, Korean and Japanese architectural styles.

Seoullo7017

Seoullo is a road connecting Seoul Station and Hoehyeon Station.
It's also famous for having a panoramic view of Seoul Station because it's an elevated road.
Many people love coming here to rest since there's a lot of plants and benches on the road.
Built in 1970, it was originally a highway, but later stopped being used.
In 2017, instead of being destructed, it was redeveloped into a path for citizens of Seoul.
While walking along Seoullo7017, you will find the roof of Lotte Outlet.
There is a rooftop garden at Seoul Station, so you can relax on the large lawn or at a cafe.
If you go straight down Seoullo, you can see Seoul Square, Seoul Station, and Culture Station Seoul 284.
Seoullo7017 is famous for its night view, so please take a walk at night!

Sungnyemun
숭례문
Sungnyemun Gate, Korea's No. 1 National Treasure, is one of the eight gates in Seoul and is only a 5-minute walk from Seoul Station.
It is also called Namdaemun, and it is where Namdaemun Market gets its name.
Sungnyemun Gate can be entered, and there are people dressed as traditional gatekeepers guarding the back of the gate.
There is a changing of guards ceremony eight times a day from 10:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 15:00, so if you're lucky, you can see the performance.
This is the main gate of Sungnyemun Gate.
It's a great sight whether you see it from afar or up close!
At the entrance to the main gate, you can see pictures of the old Sungnyemun Gate, so you can compare it to its present state.
There were pamphlets in foreign languages and audio guides at the entrance.

Namsan Baekbeom Square
백범광장
Baekbeom Square is a park in Namsan Mountain and is a filming location of the Korean drama Itaewon Class.
It is a 10-minute walk from Seoul Station and close to Namdaemun Market, so it is easy to access if you want to do some sightseeing.
The park is located in the mountains, so it can get steep, but one of the filming locations is right by the park entrance.
This path by the road was impressive and it appeared in the last episode and is the spot where Saeroyi often went for a walk.
There are also many other spots in Baekbeom Square where Saeroyi and Soo-ah talked, so visit and compare them with the drama scenes!
If you walk up along the wall and look back, you can see the beautiful scenery of Seoul.
The Millennium Hilton Seoul Hotel in front of you looks cool, doesn't it?
If you keep going up, you'll see another filming location of the drama.
Once you pass this spot, you'll find Baekbeom Square.
Baekbeom Square is a very large area of grass and you can enjoy picnics here.

Namdaemun Market is one of the must-see spots for tourists in Korea.
This market is the largest traditional market in Korea and is divided into many areas.
There's not only shopping, but also delicious food stalls, so you can enjoy this unique aspect of life in Korea.
You can sit in a the stalls and grab a bite to eat.
In addition, everything is reasonably priced from 4,000 won per serving!
There are also famous restaurants here, so please enjoy the local food when visiting.
You'll find lots of hotteok (filled Korean pancake) and Korean-style hot dogs in Namdaemun Market.
They're all very cheap, starting at 1,000 won.
