We all love ISAAC Toast in Korea, but are their burgers as good as their toast?

On July 19th, the very first location of ISAAC Toast's spin-off burger franchise, ISAAC Burger opened its doors.

People were seen lining up on social media and we knew we had to check out the hype in person!

We got to ISAAC Burger, located just a minute walk from Sinsa Station, at around 7:45pm on a weekday.

ISAAC Burger just after it's first opened

Although it was past dinnertime for many, the place was packed and we had to wait in line for about 25 minutes.

Tell the staff at the door whether you're here to dine in or to take out, and they'll guide you to one of the two lines.

Right when you walk in, you'll see a group of people standing, those are the people who are waiting for their take-out order.

Walk straight to the self-payment kiosks and place your order there!

They have their menu available in English, so ordering wasn't an issue.

We really wanted to try the Cheese Melt, which seemed like the perfect hybrid of their famous toast and their new burger, but it was unfortunately sold out!

If you're not too keen on using the self-order kiosks, they also have an order and pick-up counter right beside them.

Our order was served after about 15 minutes.

Given the large crowd, we felt that it was pretty prompt!

Signature Burger at ISAAC Burger

When a new restaurant opens, we definitely have to try the signature, right? The juicy meat with fresh vegetables tasted as delicious as a good burger should!

Burger Only 4,500 won

The shrimp burger, to be quite frank, was mediocre.

It tasted similar to Shushu Burger from McDonald's, but it just didn't have that special something to its flavour.

Set Meal 7,500 won
Burger Only 5,600 won

This one was our favourite!

You get huge chunks of creamy mushrooms in the burger, and they are so aromatic with the delicious beef patty and fluffy buns.

Cheese Balls
3,500 won

Chicken Tenders
3,000 won

The cheese balls were crispy on the outside, chewy in the middle and cheesy on the inside!

If you follow Korea's cheese ball trend, we recommend you give them a try.

The chicken tenders weren't super special, but still tasty.

If you don't feel full after a burger meal, they could be a delectable filler option.

We waited until most people had left and the store had closed to show you guys what the decor of the eatery looks like.

The store, with an orange and white colour scheme, isn't too big and can seat about 20 people.

It certainly is an atmosphere that gets your appetite going.
