Anyangcheon Multifunctional Sports Belt

The Anyangcheon Multifunctional Sports Belt is expected to be completed this year in the Yeongdeungpo-gu area. It is said that it will become a comprehensive sports center for residents to enjoy their favorite sport as well as become a major attraction.
Last year, the district government filled a total construction area of more than 70,000 square meters! The multifunctional sports belt includes a baseball field, an artificial grass soccer field, and a golf course with 18 holes, taking up 53.8% of the area.
This year, there are plans to add 7 tennis courts, an artificial grass football field, a double-decker track, and an 18-hole golf course for a total of 5 projects.
There are also plans to add 15 sports facilities to increase the satisfaction of residents and expand the variety of sports.
Yeouido Ecological Park

The Yeouido area will soon be transformed into an urban center for ecological exploration. The ecological park project plans to plant about 19,000 trees, including building a forest for observation where people can enjoy nature.
In addition, 38,000 trees will be planted and over 3,000 square meters of bicycle lanes along the small riverside in Yeouido will be installed to create more green spaces.
27 water lines have also been installed for filtering and purifying rainwater pollution. There will also be facilities to reduce water pollution.
The director of the business department of the project said, "We hope to maintain a healthier ecosystem and create a comfortable recreation area for people. The construction should be completed as soon as possible."
Seoul Cinematheque

In Seoul, there is going to be a cinematheque dedicated to film, art, and movies!
Seoul Cinematheque will have 3 underground floors and 10 floors above the ground. It will consist of 3 screening rooms, a library with books about movies, a video media center, a cafe, and a bookstore.
The Seoul government plans to build three cinemas as areas for viewing classic art films that are hard to find in public movie theaters.
As for the movie library, there is going to be an area where people can watch older films and books. The video media center will also provide education on video and film production for the general public.
You will also be able to rent photography and video equipment there too.
Changdong-Sanggye Start-up & Cultural Industry Complex

Changdong-Sanggye Start-up and Cultural Industry Complex are expected to become a major tourist attraction in northern Seoul.
The building will have a total of 49 floors and cover a total area of 140,000 square meters. The building will feature various amenities and there will also be a cultural exhibition room.
In addition, there are also going to be various shops on the 7 floors underground all the way up to the 16th-floor in order to promote and stimulate the balanced development of the regional economy.
Netmarble New Corporate Building

Earlier this year, Netmarble officially started the construction of their new corporate building in Guro where they'll be setting up new games and a manga museum to strive to develop a healthy and accessible game culture.
The Netmarble corporate building will consist of 39 floors above ground and 7 underground levels with a total area of 180,000 square meters.
Netmarble's affiliate companies and companies that collect IT cultural information such as games, pictures, animations, and webtoons will also be located there.
Second Sejong Center

The second Sejong Center will be a large theater with more than 2,000 seats. This theater will be built as a multipurpose theater for all performances such as musicals, concerts, and plays on stage.
Seoul Arena

Seoul Arena, a venue for the first and biggest K-pop arena in Seoul will open at Changdong Station in the Nowon district of Seoul.
It is said that the Seoul Arena Project is investing in comprehensive cultural facilities.
Located on approximately 50,000 square meters of land near Changdong Station in the Nowon district, it will include a 2,000-seat concert hall, a K-pop Hall of Fame, and a theater.
Robot Science Museum

The city of Seoul commissioned a famous Turkish architect to help design a robot science museum. The museum will be a place where people can experience the latest robotic technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Augmented Reality (AR).

Seoul Landmark Library

The city of Seoul is planning to build a massive library set to open in an area that is going through redevelopment in Dongdaemun by 2025.
The library will have a floor space of 35,000 square meters which is three times larger than the Seoul Metropolitan Library in the old city hall building.
Inspired by the New York Public Library, this new library in Seoul was created with the intention of becoming a landmark. It will be a cultural space that is not only a library but will hold seminars, performances, and education programs that will boost the local economy.
