The cost performance is exactly as you’d expect. Cheap and kinda terrible, BUT great location and the staff are kind and helpful. Very friendly! The room had only one tiny towel between the two of us, but more were available in the hallway. I needed to be a bit acrobatic to sit on the toilet. The bed is haaaaard. I guess it needed to be sturdy back in the day. The water pressure was good and we didn’t have any trouble about hot water. No noise complaints; it seems to be sound proof. If the lights go out, it’s pitch dark at all times of the day and night. This is a clearly repurposed love-hotel in a neighborhood to match, but it is close to a ton of nice restaurants, sight seeing, etc. There are a few different layouts, and our friend’s room had a bath tub. We thought we had made a serious mistake, but it quickly grew on us, in large part to the savings, location, and staff. At the very, very least, your wallet will be happy. Oh, quick note: we saved a bit of money by paying in cash.3

Stayed in a private room for two nights. Location was super convenient, but for the price you would probably be better off in a hotel. Beds were very uncomfortable and there were no windows in the bedroom- very stuffy.2

Title: Budget Stay with Some Drawbacks
I recently stayed at this guesthouse for 8 nights. The location is convenient, with easy access to the subway, airport bus, bus stops, and Seoul Station KTX. Nearby amenities like the CU convenience store and Olive Young add to the convenience.
However, the guesthouse itself is a converted motel without an elevator. The quadruple room provided more space for our group of 3, but the lack of thorough cleaning left the room dusty. The firm beds were acceptable, but the inconsistent AC made the room temperature uncomfortable at times.
The bathroom door being see-through compromised privacy, and the moldy conditions were concerning. Despite encountering a cockroach and mosquitoes, bug spray was provided. Towels, toothpaste, shampoo, and body wash were offered but on the smaller side.
Laundry was an additional cost, and while there was a water dispenser and microwave, there was no dedicated common area. Overall, this guesthouse suits budget travelers, but for improved comfort and service, considering a hostel for my next visit would be preferable.2

Good points: The staff were nice and it was a good location
Bad points: Internet was TERRIBLE! It would constantly drop out. There was no desk to work at, the bathroom was comically small and the shower was in very poor working order.
Can get much better accommodation elsewhere for the same price. I don't recommend this place
