Our stay was perfect. Convenient in getting the train and buses. Near the historical places. It was a choice of hotel.

Great location, across from Gwanjang Market where you can have affordable, delectable meals. Walking distance to Insadhong, Myengdong, Dongdaemun, and many more tourist destinations. Only 2 subway stops to a no-fuzz coin laundromat (exit 10 at Dongmyo station). Really nice breakfast as well, serving both Korean & regular western food.

Good hotel to stay for an average tourist.
I lived in this hotel when I was on my 5-night trip to Seoul. The hotel has a good location in the historical center of Seoul, however, a way to Gangnam district (one of the most beautiful districts of the city for tourists) is a 40-minutes ride on a bus or subway which is pretty long.
The breakfast was really good, big choice, nice taste, but you can have it only between 7 and 9 a.m. As for me, it’s too early for a city with such a wild night life
My single-room number was really comfortable, but it was really cold in it. Of course, was January and the weather was like 0 degrees, but every time I was back in my number, I had to turn on a conditioner for at least 30 minutes to make my room warmer
Well, I think for an average tourist this 3,5-star hotel is a good choice

We stayed in the triple room. Not a fabulous five star. But very practical. Didn’t eat here for breakfast but we saw it was really crowded.

The Sean Hotel management needs a lot of work for this hotel. Not sure why Google shows this as a 4 star hotel. Definitely should be a 2-3 star. It really felt like a budget in.
A lot of stuff are misleading, we booked through Expedia and a lot of amenities listed on their site is not even available. They so call have a restaurant in the hotel but only available for breakfast. There’s a sign outside that says lunch buffet but that’s not valid. The restaurant basically opens 7-9 am. They claimed they had a spa but there is none. It’s actually a 3rd party business downstairs but they went out of business. The rooms were really old and needed a lot of remodeling. At least for the one I stayed in. Majority of the room bathroom needed a lot of touch service. They basically used white caulking to cover cracks and holes. There were holes in the shower area that was never patched up from the handles of the shower. The shower curtain bar was uneven, a huge glob of silicone was just exposed. The sink was basically holding itself from caulking as well as the bathroom phone was basically glued with silicone caulking.
The beds were pretty old and I felt nothing but springs on my back. The room was also dirty under the bed. They never vacuum or sweep under. I never check under beds but because my son dropped his toy i had to flash a light under. I basically found dust, old room slippers, old toys, bottles, hair bands and other random items. I have so much to list I don’t even know what else to say. I definitely won’t be back here.
The only positive thing about this place was that it was near the gwangjang market. Even that doesn’t make the hotel enticing.
