I stayed 4 nights in this hotel, it was a fairly new hotel close to Myeongdong and Chummu Road, 5 min to subway and airport express station. The hotel room is not that spacious but it is okay for solo travelers like myself. Bedding is excellent, room facilities are basic but sufficient. Rooftop outdoor area is a must-visit, it has a view of the city and the famous Namsan Tower. I am impressed by the hot water shower in the room, very strong current and hot water even I am staying on 19th floor, it is a bless after a whole day out in the -7c city. Overall very good and will stay again.4

I'm very satisfied with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff esp the receptionists. Thank you for allowing us to store our luggage for a few days. This hotel is well located and just around 5 min walk away from the Myeongdong night market. There is also a convenience store next to the hotel so it's really convenient. The big Daiso and halal restaurants are also nearby. Bus stops and metro are within walking distance. We were also provided with ear plugs because of the noise due to the on going constructions outside, that was thoughtful! Plus point for me was the fact that our toilet has a bidet, such a lifesaver! Although the room was quite small as well as the shower and toilet but it was alright. Just that the towels provided had some stains and they smelled like bleach. But overall we had a good stay!4

Excellent location just outside Myeongdong station exit 10. Good facilities and well appointed rooms as well. Only issues were that WiFi kept disconnecting and the towels are washed in too strong chlorine.3

My overall experience is 5/10.
I like because it's near Myeong-Dong and subway. It is secured as you need to swipe the card to access the elevator.
However, the toiletries is incomplete due to no toothbrush, toothpaste, and some basic hygiene kit.
Also, there's some trash under the bed from previous guests which the cleaners didn't put an effort to clean.
The soundproofing of the room seems not enough as I can hear other guests beside my room having sex. So loud for almost 3 hours!3

I have stayed in several Ibis hotels around the world, but I must say that this particular one was the most disappointing experience. The room felt smaller than expected based on the online photos, although it was still able to accommodate a medium-sized luggage and a carry-on bag.
One major issue was the lack of basic amenities provided by the hotel, such as toothbrushes and toothpaste. Additionally, the slippers offered were reused and unclean, with a sticky and unpleasant feel upon opening the package.
To make matters worse, the toilet in the room was not functioning properly, leading me to request a room change from the front desk. Initially, my request was denied, but after expressing my disappointment and frustration with the situation, they eventually agreed to change my room.
Despite the hotel's great location, I would not choose to stay here again. The overall experience did not meet my expectations, and for the price point, I believe there are much better options available, such as the Four Points Sheraton Myeongdong, which I have rated 5 out of 5 for comparison.
