I’m not sure who wrote the other reviews but they misrepresent the nice hotel. The hotel was great for our 3 days over New Years. Our room was spacious, had nice amenities in our room like tea and coffee, fridge with bottled waters, a balcony, and nice bathroom toiletries. For an incredible price of less than $65 a night, could not find something like this in the US in such a beautiful location.

Nice hotel near the World Cup stadium. There's a big E-Mart close by and plenty of local restaurants dotted around the neighborhood. The rooms were on the small side but clean and comfortable. Swimming pool, gym, and sauna access costs KRW 7000. Swimming caps are required but can be purchased for additional KRW 3000. The pool was about 25m long with 4 lanes. There's also a small kiddie pool. It wasn't overly crowded and there was ample room to swim. Gym had a good variety of equipment and free weights. The sauna has cold/hot pools, a steam room, and showers. A good way to work off all the food and relax a bit. Breakfast was OK. The menu did not change during the 2 nights I stayed. Western + Korean offerings. I did find the plum juice quite good :) The garage here is machine operated and only allows sedans and compacts. If you have a large car, they will direct you to the public lots nearby. Overall a good stay but the hotel does get crowded.

Room size is acceptable. Located Seogwipo which is a bit quiet and only have a few pubs and cafe to go to at night. Breakfast level still can be improved. 2 lifts operating can be crowded during the peak time from 8-9 am. Seven 11 is at the lobby

YS Chengvor 2 Wochen

Room are new and cosy. But if you’re driving SUV/MPV, there isn’t any parking lots for such size of vehicles within the hotel. You will be directed to an open public carpark which is 200-300m away, up a slope. This carpark can be full as well. Staffs can’t really speak English so not east to communicate.

Room is clean, but it's facing another building at such near proximity it made me feel so claustrophobic. Open the window to a wall at your face. Hotel staff could not communicate well in English and we had a hard time trying to get our messages across. Otherwise, location is great as it's near the tourist attractions by car, there's a 7-11 next to the hotel lobby and it's opp a huge emart which is a short 5 mins walk away.
