        You can exchange your tickets by simply showing your voucher at the ticket office. Even though it was a weekday during the peak tourist season, there was still a queue of almost an hour. It is recommended to go early.

        The Namsan Cable Car, starting in 1962, has a 60-year history. It runs 600m from Hoehyeon-dong to the summit at Yejang-dong, taking about 3 minutes one way at 3.2m/s. The ride is 138m high, offering thrills, and can safely carry 48 people per trip, or 92 people in total for a round trip.

        Riding the cable car to Namsan summit is popular for its convenience and the scenic view of Namsan and Seoul. You can visit any day within 90 days of purchase, offering flexibility. Enjoy Seoul's beauty during the day, sunset, or night by choosing your preferred time to ride.

          3. After payment is complete, your reservation will be confirmed within 1-2 business days, and a voucher will be sent. 
          4. After purchase, you have 90 days to freely visit and exchange your ticket at the Namsan Cable Car 1st floor ticket office.

          How to Get There 

          • Walking: Myeongdong Station Exit 3 > Enter the alley next to the Seven Eleven on the left > Walk straight for about 7-8 minutes through the alley between Pacific Hotel and GS25 > Find the Namsan Cable Car station.
          • Using the escalator: From Exit 4 of Myeongdong Station, go straight towards Hoehyeon Intersection (Shinsegae Department Store) > Turn left at the intersection > Find the Namsan Oreumi Escalator.
          • Shuttle bus route: Namsan Cable Car Parking Lot → Seoul Station Seoul Square Stop → Myeongdong Station Exit 1 (Takes about 10 minutes from Namsan Cable Car Parking Lot to Myeongdong Station Exit 1).
          • Operating schedule (based on Namsan Cable Car Parking Lot): 12:00 / 12:30 / 13:00 / 13:30 / 14:00 / 15:00 / 15:30 / 16:00 / 16:30 / 17:00 / 18:00 / 18:30 / 19:00 / 19:30 / 20:00 / 20:30.

Even if it's a weekend, the cable car can accommodate 24 people, so it doesn't take a long time. ㆍ Take your own car to the cable car station You can use the parking lot, but it doesn't matter if you walk the walk. If you go up from Myeongdong towards Namsan 3rd Tunnel, there is a monorail platform that you can use for free. If you use this, you can reach the cable car ticket booth in less than 5 minutes. ㆍ Anyone can use the monorail, regardless of purpose or user. ㆍ The cable car fee is 15,000 won per person for a round trip for an adult.
