The personal color analysis process takes between 1 to 2 hours.

If you are more than 10 minutes late for your scheduled appointment, it may be considered a no-show and no refund will be given.

Group discounts for 3 or more people should be reserved according to the number of participants. If the reservation is made with a single-person diagnosis for the specified product, the reservation will be automatically canceled. 

The Basic Course includes only a personal color analysis, and the Detailed Course includes a personal color analysis, daily quick makeup, and body type and style consulting.

Today, we visited the Image HO, a personal color consultation store located in Garosugil. Image HO is a 10-minute walk from Sinsa Station, so you can stroll along Garosugil after the consultation.

The interior of the store is small but it feels like it has everything. Also, it is decorated in a white tone, so even though the space is compact, there is no feeling of being cramped or stuffy. When the editor arrived, they gave us a cup of tea.

In one corner of the store, there are products hanging in zipper bags. It is a personal color self-diagnosis kit!

Educational, self-diagnostic, and various other types are available, so if you are interested, please ask the staff on site!

The distinctive feature of Image HO lies in its unique diagnostic cloth, which sets it apart from other personal color consulting methods. This diagnostic cloth is registered as a patented utility model, distinct from conventional draping cloths. In contrast to draping cloths, it is more efficient in terms of time and is designed in a format that makes it easier for individuals to comprehend as they put it on and take it off.

Next to the table where the diagnosis is conducted, various cosmetics are prepared. Now I'll explain the process of Image HO's personal color diagnosis!

Let's start by creating a preliminary checklist. Image HO's pre-checklist includes sections such as areas of interest, personal color diagnosis experience, anticipated personal colors, frequently used lip colors, and commonly worn clothing colors. The checklist has English translations beneath the Korean prompts, making it convenient for you to complete even if you're not fluent in Korean.

Once the pre-checklist is completed, you'll review each one on the checklist. Following that, during the personal color diagnosis, they provide a brief explanation of the theory using a book. This book is not only used for personal color education but is also available on the market for 25,000 KRW. When you undergo the personal color diagnosis at Image HO, you will receive this book along with the diagnosis, so you can refer to it later!

After the theoretical explanation is finished, attach a robe that can be tied around the neck. In the center, there is a stapler that makes it easy to detach and attach the fabric.

Before we begin the actual diagnosis, we'll quickly check warm and cool undertones based on hair color, skin tone, eye color, and lip color. However, since this can vary for each individual and may not be a definitive way to distinguish, we'll keep it simple with just a quick check.

If you're visiting with a friend, the warm-cool undertone diagnosis will be conducted simultaneously at the beginning. You'll personally attach and remove the cloth while the consultant guides you from behind by asking questions to help you self-diagnose. If you are unsure, don't worry; the consultant will kindly explain. So, you don't need to be concerned at all!

After the warm-tone cool-tone diagnosis is complete, we have a time to find out which season it belongs to. Choose the color you are particularly interested in for the diagnosis. The editor chose the green series, and editor's friend chose the pink series.

Through the warm-cool undertone and seasonal palette diagnosis we conducted earlier, we have determined your best color type, second best color type, and worst color type. Following that, we gathered the best color types together for a final comparison.

Additionally, we also examined the neutral colors that you wear most frequently and the ones you wear the most. We determined which shades from the black and white spectrum suit you better. Almost all Koreans might share this tendency, but it was very useful for the editor as well, as they often wear black and white.

Furthermore, we attach circular chips corresponding to the diagnosis results in the workbook. By doing this, even as time goes by, you can use the circular chips to remind yourself of the colors that suit you best. Additionally, these circular chips offer the advantage of being tangible and directly touchable, allowing you to accurately assess colors visually rather than relying on printed materials.

After applying the circular chips, they move on to the examination of the cosmetics you currently use. During this time, they assess whether the type and colors of the cosmetics you use align well with you. Based on the results of your personal color diagnosis, they recommend palettes, lip colors, foundation, and cushion shades that complement you. If you have booked a detailed consultation, they can even accompany you to a cosmetics store after the personal color diagnosis, where they will recommend products that match your undertones. This way, you won't need to make the choices yourself.

In addition, it also recommends a hair color that suits you. If you have a color you want to dye here, ask once! They told the editor that natural hair color suits her the best, so she didn't want to dye it. Finally, they recommend color combinations and coordination based on the diagnostic results, and it seems really informative until the end!

Also, within 1-2 weeks, they will send you a personal color diagnosis report in English, Chinese, or Japanese version so that you can continue to check it even after some time! Keep in mind that this is only included in the Detailed Course.

Image HO has a unique diagnostic method that cannot be experienced in other personal color consultations. Get a diagnosis at Image HO and try self-diagnosis with a self-tester or diagnose with friends!
